Mine is a "stick shift" on the new RR sport late 2013; ie not a wheel.

It's also a smart key remote. Just need it on me when I push the start/stop button.

Battery seems fine..no warning messages at all..button does feel very loose indeed, not the normal click I get when changing drive mode. Button feels loose to touch. Car starts and stops with no issue ...
