I suspect the dealer is being very cautious, as is their way. If the pads look like they may wear down before the next service (plus a margin for error) they will recommend replacement. I suppose the ... |

I wouldn`t rule it out, but a worn CV joint usually makes a clicking sound on turns. A split CV boot might rub and make a noise though. |
