It's a good practice to glue them during fitment.. You're lucky that they didn't pop-off.. Here in Istanbul most of RRS's don't have them Smile I glue new ones and they last forever Smile

Your problem seems to be a torque converter one. Double-flush may cure it but for a robust solution, converter must be changed. Hope this helps...
