What updates and bug fix's I need in my 06 RRS?

Hi guys!

So I’ve bought a used 2006 RRS TDV6 HSE, and I’m going to take it for a check-up in a local dealer.

I’ve been collecting a lot of posts here, about updates, bug fix’s and so on, but I got kind of lost… Shocked

So if you all could be so kind to point out which mechanical problems/software updates, and other stuff I should lookout and refer to the dealer, I would appreciate! Thumbs Up

Cheers

I believe that if you take it to your dealer, he should be able to plug it in and see what updates are required in terms of software updates from LR.

There are some that are default and some that are only applied upon a particular complaint.... so best get down there and threaten him with a stick Wink

When you plug it in you select which field you need to go into
The machine will then depict at what state the software level is on that system
It will tell you by the software number registered in the ECU if there is a later level
On some systems you can then go around it, but on most you have to carry out the update before the equipment will allow you to go any further.
The problem is if it installs a tiny annoying glitch that you don't like, you got to wait for the next update to get rid of it because you can only go forward. You can't re-install an old software level. Neutral You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.
