Wonder if those rubber door bump strips that LR offer as an accessory would have helped in this case ????

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

This has the faint smell of jealousy Phil.

Is there any CCTV on your carpark? What would happen to the culprit if you proove he was to blame? Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

MDP - looks like the strips would have been exactly in the right place. Funny that. Confused

TB - no CCTV, but I'm working on it. Will be cheaper than the respay I had done last year, let alone fixing this.

Anyway, back to the polish......

Got the speedo all the way round the clock today.

Must say the car felt firmly planted and sure footed. Quite amazing really. What a car! The Power of Four

Sadly I washed mine today to find the same thing has been done to my ROS door Twisted Evil
Quite badly, will have to decide whether to get it professionally done or not. Its just I have little faith in those touch up kits and where it is really shows. It could look even worse if I balls up with a touch up paint kit.
That's assuming LR have released one yet. Last time I asked for one they hadn't. I had my RRS tidied up before I sold it and that included bonnet, rear nearside door and rear bumper resprays at a local bodyshop for £300 all up, which I thought was quite reasonable. I'm sure the LR bodyshop would charge about 6 gazillion quid for the same work.

My HST...

...needs a new wing after I bumped into a 500 quid Nova/205/Fiesta/thing! Big Cry

Too busy shouting abuse at the kids stepping into the road to notice that the car infront had stopped to do the same. Slammed on the brakes, and the offside of the front spoiler rubbed against the rear bumper, but as the car was breaking hard the spolier was travelling down at the time. This pushed the spolier up - creasing the corner of the wing! Censored The Power of Four
