Badge removal

Don't know whether this has been asked before but I'd like to go for a cleaner rear end by removing all badges on the tailgate, means the oval Land Rover, the Sport and the HSE badge.

Obviously I don't want to ruin the paint job and wonder what would be the best approach to achieve this. Any ideas?

Heat the badges up using a hair dryer and use dental floss to get behind the badges and remove them. There is a thread about this somewhere. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

,..and a bit of t-cut and polish afterwards. I've done it myself, easy-peasy, no damage. BUT do use dental floss, and dont prise them off! Pull gently, they will come gradually without damaging paint! Good Luck! Thumbs Up MY12 SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ebony/Piano/Sidesteps/Privacy/Overfinch Olympus/JLR DRLs
