Jeremy Clarkson

I've been reading Piers Morgan's book The Insider and on page 273 Jeremy Clarkson is accused by Morgan of having an affair. He replied saying 'I'm Not physically capable' Is this true? Puts a new light on his macho mutterings, but I still thinks he's funny. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

Can't imagine it somehow - he's hardly David Beckham is he? Wink On the subject of Clarkson, I'm reading a book of his at the mo. Forget what it's called (cleverly titled obviously) but it's a collection of his articles from the Times. They're quite funny some of them and go to show that although he does get a lot of people's backs up, he seems to always be the first to take the pi** out of himself. Proclaims his luddite tendencies very often throughout... I just wish he wouldn't make such a song and dance about the fact he won't read manuals. I still haven't forgiven him for wasting his M5 review on TG last year. Rolling Eyes

I'm reading abook by him also called "The World According To Clarkson!"

Think its the same thing. Parts are funny , others are just ridiculous.

He starts with a story which then peters out, he changes direction and ends up talking about something entirely different, he cannot maintain a train of thought for more than about 100 words, etc etc.. He is simply the most frustrating author ever to put pen to paper. He also has the cheek to criticise Jeffrey Archer as an author (whatever else you may think of Mr. Archer he is a very competent author!) when his own literary skills barely compete with that of a compentent 13 year old!..

He's basically a big fu*&ing ponce who's got nothing better to do than whinge and moan all day long. And his arguments aren't even cohesive, he never gives the other side of any argument an airing and consequently weakens his own cases(which are often quite valid).

I started out being a big fan of his television persona as i find it quite funny, but he's done himself a massive disservice allowing this book to be published.

IMHO 996 TT & RRS 2.7TDV6 HSE.

I've read about 3 or 4 books by him, they are entertaining, but not much serious content. I have one more I am gradually reading chapters from called "You know you got soul" where he blathers on about things like Concorde, the SR71 Blackbird and other amazing feats of human invention.
