Dynamic Response

Maybe a silly question, but I have recently driven a RRS with dynamic response and have to admit it makes a big difference on twisty roads. Now my car is a standard TDV6 HSE and I am wondering whether it might be possible to have dynamic response fitted as an aftermarket modification, or is it that there are just too many components involved? SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

According to the manual DSC and Dynamic Response are different things. DSC can be turned off from the switch on the dashboard - dynamic response cannot.

The only way I think you can tell if you have dynamic response (without driving) is to open the bonnet and see if you have a Dynamic Response Fluid reservoir at the front left.

DSC and Dynamic Response are two different things.

Dynamic Response is monitoring the suspension and stiffens up the suspension dynamically during cornering when the load increases. It's an 'active ride' system if you like.

Dynamic Stability Control monitors for dangerous stability issues. i.e. heavy braking , braking during cornering, excessive corner speed. It actively takes over the car if a dangerous situation is likely.

I would imagine most people would not wish for this to activate. I've had it come in on a fast road on a private farm when I was caught out by a pheasant flying out. I instinctively swerved the car and applied brakes. The speed was too great and rather than just braking, the car took the brake pedal down and selectively braked on inner wheels thus creating a pulling round of the vehicle whilst maintaining control.

Tasmod description is bang on
But to think about fitting it after is very hard and expensive. If its not on there, don't bother, unless you do not mind taking the body shell off the chassis. - it would be easy then.

By the way Tasmod- the sill plates arrived today

...yeah, looks like Whistle

..but have to admit that Audi has a new one out which judging from the pics must be the best looking car since the days the RRS was launched.... it's the new A5 and it's a real stunner with engines to match. Go and check it out on the web.

mightn't it be smarter to keep the RRS and by the Audi as second car?? SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD
