Frankfurt Duty Free- LHD UK Reg Rimini Red S/C (+pics!)

No, I'm not on drugs...it was a competition to win one of four of these cars, not sure what the rules were as I didn't have time before my connecting flight to buy anything.

The rimini red looked very nice and the ebony interior had the cherry wood.

Here's some pics:

Check out this guy, filling out the form with a ballpoint pen right on the bonnet surface!!!!

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Interesting that it is LHD on UK plates!
There's one at Glasgow airport too and it is RHD - the Porsche appears to have been won! I would be very tempted to but a ticket, but the price of them is something like £60!

Now here's a thought..................... you already own a RR Sport and possibly another car and you win a 1st Ed Supercharged.................. which would you keep??????????????

I think I would sell the 1st Ed and immediately place an order for a Chawton White TDv8 HSE with all the trimmings then sell the TDv6 when it arrives.......... and spend the change on getting my Defender converted to a V8 Auto by Overfinch......

I've had a go on these competitions before ( Best of the Best ) & it's not just buy a tkt and away you go....... you then have to complete a spot the ball competition Mad

see link:- http://www.bestofthebest.co.uk/botb2/site/...ext=189155

Although they are not detailing any RRS's at present.

People think they since there is only 2500 tickets that they have a 1:2500 chance of winning....but there a catch....since they don't have a licence to operate a lottery they have to make it a competiition and hence 'Spot-the-ball' which has a much higher odds.
Better off going to www.dubaidutyfree.com and entering an actual lottery for a car without even having to go thru Dubai airport.

This was not one of those deals, it was something to do with finding a price of some duty free items in the store, filling out the form, then posting in a box.

There was no high price ticket to buy, unlike the Aston Martin DB9 competition sitting in Birmingham T1 departure lounge. L319 D4 HSE
