I have a Q here

Does the Nav screen stay on lighting after the ignition key removed and the car was locked? also the same apply for a radio..coz I notice It's stay on for a while then turn off I'm not sure if it has to do like that? 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Buckingham Blue, Ivory converted to HST Silver

We have talked about having to 'agree' to the sat navs warnings and as yet no hack has been found! RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

Indeed - MY07 brings in the ability to use the SatNav on the move without it being greyed out... but no way to stop the warning from coming up at the start.

Sportman, yes - the SatNav screen does stay lit for some while after you've turned the engine off. We have had several discussions about this over the past year or so... Very Happy

Switherj - now how can a guy from Evanston (Illinois? Wyoming?) in the U.S. not understand about how large corporation (read: deep pockets) manage civil liability? We're just lucky the voice activation isn't used to require each driver to recite a "save and hold harmless" text before the engine will start! i find it most irritating to see that screen every time, so i leave mine set on the 4X4 screen which then comes on every time you start it up, that's providing that you don't want sat nav every time. RRS TDV6 sold RRS, TDV8 nearly sold, Ferrari 355 sold, Cobra sold,

now driving an 06 Freelander sport

Thanks everyone. I am aware of the hack to remove the nav while driving and it works. I am more anoyed by the CLRA warning when I start my car. CLRA = Cover Land Rovers Ass.

So if you leave it on the 4x4 screen when you switch off, you don't get the warning screen when you switch back on E?

I have bluetacked a tailors dummy finger to the screen so I don't have to do this each time...

Thumbs Up
