High mileage?

Had mine for 4 weeks now and have just passed the 3,200 mile mark, at this rate I'm heading for 40,000 in a year. In demand or not, that will not be good for residuals!

Anyone else heading this way?

I've clocked up the 1800th mile today - car will be 1 month old tomorrow!
But I am about to go overseas to work for a spell and cannot take it with me Crying or Very sad Would be nice to have the 1st Sport in China, although I'm sure that there will be 1 or 2 in Hong Kong by now!
It is just such a nice car to go out and drive (even in diesel form) so I understand your predicament Simon!

Tim,
would you like me to look after it while you are away? it'll need a run out or 2, just to keep the battery topped up and stop the tyres "flat spotting", I'll top up what little fuel I use, promise. Very Happy
DW Its never heavy to carry horsepower.

Thanks very much but it won't be necessary DW as I have plenty of family and friends up here who have volunteered to do the job. In reality my father will run it about 50-100 miles a month while I'm away. Strangely my Defender is suddenly not as popular as it used to be...................... unless we have deluges of rain or inches of snow, in which case the Sport will be locked in it's big shed and the Defender will be getting all the use!
