Guys, thanks for the V prompt repies. The noise seems to me to be associated with the starter motor disengagement, but is pretty loud/metallic and only occurs on first start of the day irrespective of outside temperature (its been doing it from 1st Sep). I have no such noise on mine. I have sometimes heard the steering clunk in access mode while reversing off our cambered driveway. Positivley no starter motor clunks ever. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment. |

Wait for it..... Exhaust Gas Recirculating valve..... it sounds like a large 'clanging' noise...well it does on my car |
