Advice on seat covers ?

Hi All

I am thinking about getting some front and rear seat covers. My seats are black leather, however I have been told by Marshal land Rover Parts, who sell genuine land Rover parts on Ebay, that they have been discontinued in black as a result of dye running onto and staining the leather, especially ivory and alpaca, aswell as light coloured trosers!

Has anyone got black cover and experienced this problem?

Does anyone here know the cheapest lace to buy them ?

Thanks

I seem to remember they have been discontinued in black... you can only get them in Alpaca or Aspen now I think. Didn't know that was the reason why they stopped them though.. Confused

Someone on the lighter side had black dye run over his Alpacca leather resulting in a new interior for him. I'd ask why you need them, my alpacca seats have had blood, vomit, mud, milk and tar on them and its all come off fine. IMO you don't need covers with leather seats especially black ones.

I was thinking of getting them as the seats get alot of mud and food on them which does wipe off, but im just afraid the kids will scratch the leather!
