Hong Kong 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange
Was late for work so...

Drove the RRSSC in anger this morning for the first time. Plenty of twists, turns, tunnels and straights. The best moment was taking a Carrera 4S on the OUTSIDE lane of a sharp corner.

Not so impressed with 2nd gear on full throttle but 3rd is OH MY GOD! Talk about a wall of Torque... Now I'm wondering what it would be like with the Overfinch conversion. Gonna have to get that done next year.

The dynamic response and cross linked suspension is just superb. Handles better than most supercars considering the weight. The HUGELY WIDE tyres help a lot but I can't see them lasting longer than a year.

My only "complaint" is the driver's seat does not provide enough lateral support. I'm used to very rigid carbon fibre bucket seats and harnesses. Now how cool would this car be with those installed... hmmm... (don't flame me for that one, was only a thought).

Gonna take it on the track next year to see how my lap times compare to my other cars. Should be a hoot.

Tony
