TURBOCHIP GOES FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH

SPECIALIST AUTOSPORT SERVICES LTD (SAS Ltd) is the SOLE approved Distributor for TURBOCHIP products in the UK.

Turbochip in the UK is further expanding its dealer network and has many new developments coming for Land Rover and many other brands in the market. These developments are in all the market sectors which Turbochip is active in.
We believe we have one of the (if not the) best range of performance tunes for Land Rover available in the market. This is justified by customer testimonials, which we have received, and our track record - we have done over 450 TDV6 Land Rovers alone this year to date, with no problems. We have also backed up our customers 100% through the LR enhancement program, at no extra cost to the customer.

Forum members who are thinking of tuning their cars need to consider a number of factors when looking at the choice of tuning companies.

1. Company reputation.
2. Is there a test vehicle available?
3. What back up is offered.
4 Does the company have a dealer network?
5. Is the company easily contactable at their head office (not just an answering service or machine).
6. Can you visit the Head office to meet the management and staff?
7. Is the company registered and legitimate?
8. Does the company have a web site, where you can see what other products they offer in the tuning market?
9. Does the company develop and write their software and files?

If the answer is yes to all or most of these, you are on the right track!

At Turbochip we can answer YES to all of the above; we are happy to answer any
Questions and are proud of our reputation.

Turbochip in the UK will continue to support Martin on the RR Sport and Disco 3 Forums and
will endeavour to be more active on the forums. We are busy people so please be patient
but we will come back to you with answers to all questions and enquiries, if we can.

Thanks for the info TC

I am considering an ECU upgrade for my 06 RRS TDV6 HSE and would certainly consider TC to do the job for me. I like the idea of a great product matched by great support and a sound industrial reputation.

Thank you for the information about contacting TC.

I would like to know more about the process if that's not too complex to explain. Exactly what happens when you turn up here on my drive (or do I have to take it to your agent?) How much does it cost? and what is the lead / wait time? (if any?)

Any company whose MD puts his mobile phone number into the public domain has got to mean business as far as I'm concerned - you'll get my order for an ECU upgrade for sure (once I'v paid the kids school fees etc. etc.)

And lastly, thank you for your continued support of the RRS forum.

Happy New Year

Ah well, I keep saying this. The TDV8 map is available and just contact your nearest dealer for a remap, I cover most of the area around me, just ring me if you are not sure. I offer the forum discount, just check the D-Tech post for the price. V8 is same as V6.

As for a test, well I posted the results of a 4 car remap session which highlighted the differences in vehicles even with the same map applied. It's the first time I have had 4 together to do a back to back test over the same roads. Usually it's only one car which then doesn't give you a direct comparison.

Maps are also available for the new Freelander and just about any other motor that can be done.

Rob (tasmod and D-Tech)

Envoy. Figures for "Before T. Chip" Smile All moving figures are taken from the lower flat speed not through from below under power. Those figures would be a lot quicker.

0-60 from still in sports mode and no silly holding the break pedal down Rolling Eyes

0-60 : 8.5secs
30-50 : 4.3 secs
50-70 : 5.8 secs
60-90 : 9.5 secs

Being done tomorrow Thumbs Up

Miles on clock 330, tank @1\4 and my son on stop watch. Dry sunny conditions (makes a change).

I will post new times "POST T. CHIP" for comparison soon Thumbs Up

Baron
