Tasmod Sill Plate removal

As I am going to move my Supercharged sill plates to the Vogue when I get it (easier than selling mine and getting new ones, and cheaper!) does anyone know the best way to remove them with the least fuss, least mess and without bending the plates? I would guess a hairdryer to warm them up and then try peeling them off??

I asked Tasmod himself but have had no reply? Perhaps he has snubbed me cos I am not buying a new set? Shocked L319 D4 HSE

I'd agree the hairdryer route is probably best to take. You should be able to "walk" them up and off once the adhesive is loosened, I'd have said.

The best way is to get the missus to do it with a hair dryer, you can justifiably say that she would be better at that sort of thing because she gets more practise with one, then when it all goes wrong, blame her and get her to buy you some brand new ones Thumbs Up some of my Previous cars

... I have heard that dental floss is a good way to remove badges and number plates, I don't have the sill plates fitted but imagine if dental floss works for number plate tape then it may work here....

but what do I know Razz
