True, but I took both my front wheels off to paint the hubs of the newly-fitted Rossini discs that went rusty. Dont think the very nice man at LR Assist would've been too happy diong that for me? It was a back-breaker! Embarassed

Those bastard 20" wheels are a ton weight and I couldn't get them back on again. Think the suspension must drop slightly while it's off the ground? Certainly fooled me.., mind you, that's not too difficult! Embarassed

Tyre changing

Had my RRS HSE for about 10 months now and had 2!!! Censored screws in 2!!! Censored tyres. 1 at 3 in the Censored morning after a 7 Censored hour delayed flight!!! Anyway, try jacking the tyre with th eengine running. You will notice that the car goes in to "escape" height. What it does is go 1 higher than the high ride. You cannot access this through button, but only through the car sensing that it has been grounded. I went on the full day Land Rover Experiance day. The guy knows alot about the working of the new cars (RRS, Disco, RR, Free). Well worth £300. amazing what the car can do. Even with road tyres. Without Censored nails in them!!

I often change all 4 wheels on my RRS and it's a real pain. I switch the road tyres to MTR's - takes just under an hour! Evil or Very Mad RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

I accidentally stumbled across the manual a while back (not that I meant to read it obviously as a bloke) and I think it states to raise the suspension fully before taking wheel off - could be wrong as I really didn't read read it but that would explain this wouldn't it... Rolling Eyes

Thanks Maw. As you so rightly say, like a typical bloke I threw the trolley jack under there and just got cracking. You learn by your mistakes.., well, sometimes!!! Embarassed Whistle
