Just a word of warning if you intend to fit Rossini drilled and grooved brake discs to your RRS; they look absolutely great..., until the hubs go completely rusty! Whilst the performance is significantly improved, they do look awful after a fortnight so please remember to hammerite the centres in smooth silver BEFORE installing on your car. That way, it'll be a lot easier, and save you a whole lot of hard work and backache later, trust me??? |

There speaks the voice of experience, by the sound of things! Good tip, Brian!

Yes, messing with a 3-ton lump up on axle stands outside in the cold and wind is no fun and I've been flat out with backache ever since. The Main Dealer couldn't believe the rust, the hubs are NOT treated in any way (unlike OEM), just raw metal. Wish I'd known the consequence before fitting? Having said that, they are worth having on the car if you haven't got Brembos and do now look great. Good Luck! |
