Prague Taxi's

Was out in Prague last weekend seeing the wife, and whenever we took one of the hotel taxis (new Passat TDi) I noticed they all had a TV screen fitted within the passenger side sun visor, on the inside face. On the outside edge of the visor was the Power and RF connectors, and it was an incredibly next job.

So, in between jobs they would all sit there watching TV. There was no visible TV antenna on the car either so you wouldn't know it was there.

Very slick. It looked factory fitted too.

My friend imports these from China, nices pieces of kit.
Very expensive here though, i think round the £600 mark..
These are the next "thing to have" after the rear headrest screens.

The Police cars use them when enabled with Tracker Locators, seen them on Police Camera Action. Past: Bmw M3 E92 Coupe 57, 335d Coupe 56, Audi RS4 06, RR Sport TD HSE 05,

Am i right in thinking that these are replacement sun visors that happen to have the LCD screen built in? That one in the picture on Ebay looks a bit tacky to me, I have to say... Confused

Try this one for size, not quite as wal-martie http://www.vizualogic.com/sunvisors/key_features.html, They also make headrest monitors and DVD systems. I emailed to see if the have a replacment for the RRS, but no response as of yet... Adam

No UK dealers though.
I like the comment that it is specially screened so the driver cannot watch the show as he drives................... but what is to stop him fitting a screen in the driver's side visor (which of course over here would be the passenger side for the USA....................... wonder if the visors are "handed" for Left and Right Hand drive?) A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.
