....sitting here wondering if my salesman can ever be bothered to call me regarding my new sport, which last Friday was supposed to be with him yesterday...got wondering if there is still a big deal regarding year of registration on residuals.

To be honest I've half a mind to tell him not to bother rushing it through, seeing as he appears to be in no hurry to deal with me...and I'll register it sometime next year now.

Can't believe what wan**** some of these dealers are being about these cars and why they can't just give straight answers and act in a business like way.

If i was you i would call him up every 1/2 an hour asking for an update and sending him emails and calling his dealer principle up demanding my car. That way at least you will annoy them into rushing your car through.
March 1st is a long time to wait mate.. i would want it before xmas and before any more snow arrives so that you can have some fun.

.....when I was a naieve little boy I always thought somebody would be busting a gut to get £50k off me....obviously times have a changed...

...as I've had to chase him every step of the way (& he was always just about to call me as I finally manage to get in touch with him), I really can't be bothered to do any more chasing...it's on the road this weekend I think...or they can carry it...with the money in my bank until the new year..

Looks like another salesman that got a gold star at the Land Rover salesmans school of ignorance. Mine must have even attended the full course on lies. He certainly told me a few. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Regitration date not so important these days as the actual build date.

Would suggest if if it is built and ready, get it as soon as you can, otherwise it is depreciating by age and you are not enjoying it...

If your salesman calls you lets say the 20th of dec to collect the car . tell him you will come to collect it 1 st week off jan. he will be really of because most salesman get there bonus at the end of the year. If they let you wait , also let them wait.
