Drove form home to New Castle today some 300 miles. I averaged 15mpg!!!! Laughing oh god....

Don't tell us you weren't warned about the fuel consumption! Mind you it could be a lot worse than that as some on here will testify..................... won't they Mis & MD!

You could have bought the "economy" version 4.4 and found the consumption is almost the same but way less performance! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Good way of looking at it. Im sure it will get better when I grow tired of flooring it so I can listen to the wonderfull sound of the supercharger......

From what I hear you never get tired of flooring it or hearing the s/c doing it's stuff.

drove back today from new castle today....310 miles on one tank ohhh yea. 18mpg average. Not toooo bad I suppose... I wonder what towings gonna be like Shocked hehehe I used to do the trip on 45 quids worth of fuel in my volvo awd R. Now it costs about 100 quid in the rangie at the same speeds....like traveling first class though so worth the extra...
