Received a letter this morning from LandRover Customer Service asking me if I could kindly fill in a questionaire regarding my recent visit to Shukers LR with my RRS

Very nice letter and I'd like to fill it in, apart from the fact my car hasn't been in

I popped in for some mats and cargo net a few weeks back - could it be for this I wonder bit OTT I feel

you do have the right reg plates on your car right? A few years back when we got our Merc van we had two different plates on it for about a week  RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Reminds me of an incident I saw in a layby on the A404.

Two drivers of identical cars were pulled over looking at their cars - one had one registration number on the front and another (one digit out) number on the back - whilst the other driver had the opposite set. I guess they were company fleet cars and some garage lacky had gone along the row of cars screwing number plates on and got it wrong
