lowering module

I have some one who is going to do development on this module for me in my eyes surley an interface to adjust the speed that the car rises at for example would be fine for example 50mph insted of 20mph that way you can drive where people are going to actually look at your car in low mode and then get your comfort back at 50mph, as the cars bounce all over in low mode even at low speeds. i will post on my developments Still working

You have to wonder. If this highway lowering at 100 mph is programmed into the suspension ECU then surely this can be modified to take effect at a different speed. I don't particularly need the extra 23mm offered by the Matzker/Arden box - but I would like the car to lower itself at say 120 kph and return to normal suspension height at 110.

Anyone out there familiar with the OBDII codes for the RRS and is there a parameter for this that can be modified? Hard to think this is hard coded.

In other news...my driver last night told me that the owner of the limo company has had the navigation system modified in his wife's RRS. Apparently it involved removing a chip which detects motion. Am following up for confirmation and details. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

modify for what?

The module to add video to the screen of the rrs removes the lock for inmotion, so whatexactly you are saying is that, that he now doesnt have the inmotion lock that disables moving the navigation buttons when going faster than a couple of miles?

NO to the above Exclamation

Having tested it one night on an empty bit of dual carriageway I can't say I noticed any difference. Other than it's rock solid at that speed which is good for such a big car. TDV6 - gone

Has anyone tried pressing the Access height button when at speed?

As far as I know the modes for the suspension are:

Grounded off road
Off road
Normal
100 mph lowered
Access

Getting someone to photograph the car from the side at 100mph to then see if it is any lower than normal would also be an act of self incrimination surely!

I like everyone else here cannot fathom what on EARTH LR were thinking by setting the lowering speed to 100mph. Daft. Is there anywhere in the world where 100mph is a legal highway speed? L319 D4 HSE

I did the same driving to Dusseldorf weekend before last - drove several times, for extended periods at over 160 kph (until the wife leaned over and said: "Isn't that a bit fast???!!!" Embarassed ).

Did not notice anything or any display indication of a lowering although I did look for it. I can only assume that it did so. I agree that the car is very stable at speed. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

When I had the FFRR you could see the car lowering at about 65mph, not physically visible but there were flashing LEDs on the ride height adjustment button! I believe that on the facelift 2007 MY FFRR they have removed that feature now. The only drawback of it was that my mother occassionally used to drive the car and if she was a passanger and I was driving a bit enthusiastically she would not hesitate to tell me because she knew what speed the suspension lowered! Indeed you do! On May 29th, 1999 - Montana replaced their non numeric approach to speed enforcement ("reasonable & prudent") to a numeric speed limit of 75 MPH. I correct myself.
