K and N performance air filter

I know some people have discussed this topic already but I couldn't find anything on K&N filters.

With this said, has anyone replaced the normal air filter with a K&N performance one? I purchased one the other day but my brother told me it screwed up his sensors on his volkswagen touareg. Will the air filter messed up any sensor on the RRS? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

First I have heard of using a K&N most have been fitting ITG filters with no problems (but then I am talking about diesels here)
Not sure if ITG use 'oil' like K&N.
I have used K&N in my last few cars and vans with no problems but have not made the leap with the D3 yet.

The best filters you can fit are the ITG filters made by JE Engineering ..................... quite simply put = The Best!

They will fit both the Diesel and Petrol models.

I had fitted my D3 with K&N filter 2 months ago with no problems at all, I also noticed that fuel economy has been increased by 0.1-0.2MPG, but it might be because of changing the old clogged filter, no performance changes noticed. 05' LR3, V8 HSE, Adriatic Blue
