If integration = "playing audio"

AUX is a 3.5mm stereo minijack. The iPod audio jack is a 3.5mm stereo minijack. A male to male cable... and you are done.

The iPOd Nano will fit beautifully in the top of the cubby box too. If you have PTI and a phone cradle on the underside of the cubby box lid, there is practically no room on the plastic tray to place your mp3 player.

The Nano is SO slim I think it would work brilliantly in this situation. L319 D4 HSE

I have the Nano and the male to male cable works. Another thought for you is the video iPod. I was able to get the sound through the factory speakers and the videos to show on the screens with an AV cable and an RCA adapter.

Does anybody use an FM iPod Airplay to connect their ipod to the car's fm radio wirelessly? Does it work OK?

I don't have an ipod/mini MP3 player but have been considering one for on long flights. Anybody any advice as which to go for - ie, is the iPod the best MP3 player? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I use something similar and I found that on long journeys you would have to retune the ipod because of station interuption. A real pain. I know use the rear sockets. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Tim, I've got the iTrip which does the same thing. In the south east to be honest there are too many FM signals, which interfere a bit much with it. When I don't get the interference it's fine. I've got a normal 20GB Ipod plus a Nano. Piece of cake to set up & use. I'd recommend them. I like the Ipod's but i guess the best thing to do is try a few different makes & see what you like.

How nice to have an overcrowded FM waveband - up here once you are north of Perth and away from the towns you cannot get anything but crackles on FM!
Thanks for the tips, I'll have a look in the duty free when I fly out next. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hello

I have a very nice DIY system i made.. I used a dension ICElink cradle and stripped it down I then got a belkin auto kit which gives you a dock connector the same as the icelink connector thit belkin kit has a 3.5mm jack on the 12v cigarette plug which has a varible volume gain. i have then installed a extra cigarette socket behind my glove box and run a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male audio lead form the aux input in the back to just behind the glove box. I dont have any pics of the install in the RRS but i will take some if interested but you can see me mk1 version that i had on my Discovery 3 in my gallery on www.disco3.co.uk

Also i have just recieved a icelink FM kit to fit to a volvo XC90 and it looks like this could be used on the RRS and D3
