One of the reasons I bought this car...just looks beautiful doesn't it? Looks even better when you click to open at full size.

I love it too from the front - what do you think about from the back ? not sure why LR did not put a rear apron on .. ?

Here I go again about Audis....... But I think the Supercharged would have looked a lot better from behind if they had fitted a par of exhaust that resemble those as fitted to the RS6 ( a bigger oval )

What do you think ? Also I am imformred by overfinch there is one out there ( he was going to send me a pic - but never did ! )

I'm no "Max Power Muppet" as RRUK would say but it's no secret that I love those exhausts... the S/C should have been fitted with much more flamboyant tailpipes if you ask me. It does rather subdue the rear of the car and I think manufacturer's should be making statements with their top end "sports" models.... BMW M cars have them, AMG Mercs have them, Audi RS models have them. I suppose it shows us that LR aren't in the business of designing and selling cars with a performance edge.

I bought tips for my RRS HSE non SC because I too like the postier view, but I struggled with what would fit in that small space due to the epiglotis looking thing that hangs right next to the tips. The tips I ended up with are only 3.25" (82.5mm) wide Sad

It's funny y'know - I've always been a bit precious about modifying cars away from the standard build, but I find myself actually entertaining making quite a lot of changes to mine. The jury is still out on whether I can justify a set of Stormers (esp when I won't make anything on them come resale), but new exhaust tips I could do.

Acole10000, I'm assuming they're not the Overfinch tips given they don't have the emblem on? Where are they from?

Shmoogle, will the tips fit on a TDv6? Our tailpipes are hidden away under the rear valance unlike the V8 which has sticky out tail pipes, they may not fit a TDv6. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

Is there not someone on here who has pics of the exhaust tips on their TDV6? I think on the TD6 it would be a case of welding the tips onto extensions from the existing pipes to get them visible.... I'll see if I can find the pics (probably only to prove myself wrong, but here goes)...
