A couple of newbie questions

Am I correct in having read that you cannot use the navigation functions while driving? If is there a way to solve this? Seems very annoying to me. If you have planned a route and want to change it while underway you have to park the car?

Can the air suspension be lowered? If so how?

Is an electrically adjustable steering wheel an option? My BMW has it and I find it strange the RRS does not have it.

What average mpg (UK) can I expect with a TDV6 HSE after it's been run in?

1. correct.
2. Yes but you must not drive over 30mph. Put the car in N and press the lower button.
3. don't know.
4. between 22-28mpg 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Electric steering wheel is not an option, it has been 'saved' only for the big brother Range Rover.

You can adjust your nav route on the move, but you cannot input a new address while moving from scratch. So, you can set detours etc if you get stuck in traffic for example, or you can input an addresss you have previously saved in the system as a marked location. You get used to itm and I think it works well. L319 D4 HSE

In some markets (Australia for sure) a power adjustable steering wheel is apparently standard equipment on the Sport. Here in the US, it's not even an extra cost option, but you may get lucky in the Netherlands. I can't figure out the logic behind some of these marketing decisions. For instance, only in the US we get garage door opener buttons in the rearview mirror, you guys don't have garage doors in Europe? But, no power folding mirrors for us, and yet some of those electric garage doors are quite narrow... Very Happy

If you lower the air suspension to access mode then forget to raise it on driving off you, once you reach 30mph there will be a mystery "bong" from inside the dashboard and while you wonder what has gone wrong now and you are thinking and looking for warning lights the car will automatically raise to normal ride height. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

In my 4.6HSE there's an inhibit switch to "hold" the height at 'low ride height' which is 1" lower than standard height. Great for normal driving. Malaysia Boleh!

The RRS can be locked into its " access height " but I'm not sure if it unlocks from this when you reach a certain speed. It would be very uncomfortable to drive far in the access mode as you would have NO suspension worth a light Confused

When it is locked down it will still auto-rise at speed. I have tried it. Very Happy L319 D4 HSE
