what do the counter balance weights do that hang on the chassis just behind the rear bumper, and they are on the TDV6 aswell as the supercharged.

a little fine tuning in the handling department i would think.

they hang on rubber mountings and must weigh at least 10 kilos each

I see a theme developing here, (Disco 3) has the same thing. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.
