dvd playback

I did a search, but didn't find an answer.
You UK guys... when you have the parking brake engaged
and a dvd playing on the front nav screen... does it stop
playing up front when you disengage the parking brake or
when you drive to a particular speed? Sorry if this has
been covered.

I can't speak from experience as I never had DVD playback... but I believe from what I've heard from others that it stops at a particular speed rather than when the EPB is disengaged or anything other than P is selected.

I'll leave it for others to confirm if that's true.

For occupant safety, when the vehicle is
in motion or the parking brake is released, the
TV picture is not displayed (but the audio signal
can be heard). RRS TDV8 HSE - Hybrid TV - Sunroof - Adaptive Front Headlights - Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 system

However, if you use the NAV-TV Module, then it allows the DVD to play without interuption on the front screen, irrespective of the handbrake being on, that you are watching doubtful quality pictures of Spinal Tap and its going to be a full moon!

Ok, before the posts starts, yes I think everybody knows you shouldn't - thanks for pointing it out, I would never have thought about it otherwise.
