Really? I don't follow rallying that religiously but didn't even know he was ill. I remember a very old Top Gear doing a piece on him when he must have been in his teens, throwing an old Beetle around in a field owned by his Dad. He was on his way into the rally circuit at that point I think. What a shame... isn't it odd that well-known deaths always seem to happen in clumps, normally threes. |

He collasped at the wheel during a high speed stage and his navigator managed to gain control of the car but if I remember correctly had to to crash it to stop, It was at a medical after that incident that Burns was found to have the tumour. |
