Good god MDP, your not making unnecessary journeys out to the office in the snow are you? Tut Tut how inconsiderate of you when all the roads south of Manchester seem to be blocked by the 3 flakes of snow that have fallen and abandoned cars are all over the place. |

So what are these clips for? The seatbelts work perfectly well without using them (and leaving them tucked away in their pockets). I assumed they must be for lowering the seatbelt when a child is sitting in the rear. This is why I used mine to hold the seatbelt on the side of the seat, as this does lower the belt and stop it going across a child's neck. Matt

MP, I don't know and I haven't bothered digging them out to use them as I haven't heard the belts rattling to the extent that it is a problem........... I am going to read the manual and see what it says!!! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

It's the clips that rattle if they are not attached to the seatbelt or not pushed home in their little pockets. They rattle on the window trim. Matt

OK, so I too have now found my beltclips hidden away in their little suede pocket on the side of the seat. Didn't realise they came out. Like mpwox11 though, I can't really see the point of them... my rear belts don't make any noise although one rear belt is permanently in use with a child seat. If nothing else, these cars are full of wonder & joy |

I've just been through the user manual and these seat belt clips are not referred too. Matt

Maybe they are really up-market curry hooks or carrier bag hooks for the boot! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Is it to aid movement/travel of the seat belt when folding down the rear seats? |
