Rear Seat Belt Clip

Just thought I'd mention this. The rear seat belt clip/holder above the rear seats is best used in one particular way to prevent them ratling . SEE PIC

When mine came from dealer they had them clipped in the other way round.

You need to have the opening of the clip facing downwards..... it makes all the difference Smile

or tucked away in the side of the seat, which is more useful if you keep putting the rear seats forward as I do. L319 D4 HSE

That's interesting, neither do I. I have a little clip that's actually attached to the side of the seat - where you appear to have the little fabric loops.

Blimey, don't tell me they've gone to the trouble of fitting different belt clips to the SC!! Shocked Unless, it's just a different batch - maybe the production changed at some point.

Try pulling the clip away from the seat, are you sure its not on elastic like ours? Can you post a pic of yours? L319 D4 HSE

Haven't tried, so I'll check next time I go out there. If it's different, I'll post a pic...

seat belt clips.

well done that man, Have been driving me stir crazy since I lowered the rear seats Now all solved. As it was dark in my garage ,and the rear courtesy lights are almost useless, I was searching for a place to hang my torch as altering the clips is a two handed job,and lo and behold I looked at the rear roof handles, and there was the hook perfect for ones torch.

Well well well, just been outside with my torch to take a look see and what did I find but the above plastic clips and they appear to be the right way round too!

Now I don't usually sit in the back let alone travel in it so I've never fiddle with the bits round there. I flipped the little panel in the rear of the centre cubby to find another power socket and what looks like a headphone socket labelled "AUXY".

What's the purpose of this clip?
I've always used ours the other way around and used to keep the seatbelt on the side of the seat.

This then keeps the seatbelt lower for my daughter (just turned 7 years).
However, the seatbelt soon comes out and then the clip rattles on the side trim. More often now the clip gets tucked away and not used. Matt
