Hello and help

I’ve just taken ownership of an RR Sport but here’s where I need help. All I know is that it’s a 2005 4.2 supercharged V8. Does this mean it’s an HSE?

This is, I’m sure, the first of many stupid questions!

Thanks

Renny

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Welcome to the forum Renny- No it isn’t an HSE model. In 2005 it was a separate model above HSE and there was only the First Edition above that. Difference between an HSE was S/C had standard adaptive BiXenon Headlights, 20” alloys (the rest all had 19’s unless they had the optional updated stering rack and Dynamic Response Pack), standard Brembo front brakes, standard handsfree Bluetooth (option on all other models then), performated leather seat facings, leather topped cubby box, standard Hamman Kardon Logic 7 13 speaker surround sound and some standard posher carpet footwell mats. HSE ad all those items as options in 2005. The only HSE V8 in 2005 was the rare 4.4V8 non S/C model 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Hi buying a 65 plate Autobiography Dynamic

After viewing loads of cars online and in dealer videos I have eventually ordered a 65 plate Autobiography from a dealer in Yorkshire which is hundreds of miles from me.

I had been looking at HSE Dynamics and got to know the spec of those quite well but I don’t really know what is standard on the Autobiography. The dealer has pointed out the options fitted such as 22 wheels, black roof and massage seats but hasn’t listed the standard Autobiography kit. He did mention blind spot montoring as a fitted option but I thought that was standard?

Does anyone have a link to a 2015 brochure? The car is a Sep 15 car with the 306 engine. (Was thinking of SDV8 as Loved my old TDV8 Vogue SE but decided to be sensible).

Any help on the spec very welcome.

Car is carpathian grey with tri-colour leather interior and black headlin8ng.

So I thought I'd come and introduce myself.... my name's Derek and I'm a Range Rover addict.... there, I've said it!

Having started almost 20 years ago with a V8 classic, and progressed through a 4.6 P38 I'm now back in the fold with this:

A 2009 (Facelift) 3.0 TDV6 HSE with most of the kit that I wanted.

Only picked him up on Friday and being well overdue the belt service I'm not actually driving it until that's sorted.

Anyway, I look forward to being part of the community.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Siberian Silver

Hi all.

After a number of years of owning a Toyota Landcruiser I looked and looked for either a RRS of DISCO and 3 years ago bought a 2011 RRS and love it.

I purchased a HSE with good spec and use the car daily on a bridleway to drive and then walk my dog. Had a few problems with fuel tank sender and antiroll bar bushes that seem to go very quickly!! Ive visited the forum for some time now and I've always found it very useful but decided to join to seek some further advice and share my experiences too.

Thanks and hoping to learn lots from the site..
