Restricted performance but no fault codes

Our 3.0sdv6 recently had restricted performance. This was resolved by renewing both air inlet manifolds. All was well for a few months, until today, when the warning message reappeared.

What’s confusing, is there are no faults logged (engine related) when I checked with Ye olde IID tool.

Can MAFs or MAPs be faulty and not record a code?

Any help appreciated Less is more, more or less

Did you check immediatly or a few minutes after you shut down the car?
In the last case, it could be an electronic glitch and the ECU resetted itself. RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Lux

Checked for codes a fairly soon after switching engine off.

I didn't check for pending codes, so maybe there was something there.

I'll have to wait until it happens again, I guess Less is more, more or less
