has anyone fitted this "protector" to the front end of MY2010 onwards?

its @ €140 so....not the end of the world if it loses its appeal to me over time.
i was wondering how functional it is as a protector.
the bumper itself is meek enough 2007 TDV6 RRS HSE..now gone
