2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Sumatra Black

AMK compressor

Does anyone know when the AMK compressor superceded the hitachi model in the RRS standard build?

I thought they switched to AMK after 2010... but the JLR ECAT shows part number for Hitachi model for my 2012 2007 TDV6 RRS HSE..now gone

Strange really according to L/R Vin. AA000001 - BA708254 Hitachi fitted, BA708255 - CA725628 AMK fitted,
CA725269 - DA768669 reverted to Hitachi, then Vin. DA768700 on back to fitting AMK's. My car is in the range CA725269 - DA768669 and a MY13 and has the Hitachi fitted.

i'm in the same range as you.
damn.... good job i looked up in the JLR EPC... i was just going to blindly buy some new desiccant and filter for the AMK version.

ah well... at least i'm well used to fixing the hitachi version
so small mercy i guess 2007 TDV6 RRS HSE..now gone
