1. Make sure the ipod volumn is on MAX
2. Make sure the headunit volume is high.

If that doesn't work, there is a connector in the front footwell (left) where the red and blue cables join.

Bizarrely neither does mine? But it does have a factory fitted Ipod connector in between the front cup holders, and that works off the AUX button Question Previously owned 1999 Disco 2 TD5

How do know if the knocking at the front has been sorted?

You can hear the knocking at the rear better

I had similar issues with volume and aux input but mine worked although very quiet.

I found the perfect fix was to buy an iPod (30 pin?) to 3.5mm jack cable cured this.

Don't know if it helps but hope it does! 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

Hi Andy, where is the connector please? do I have to remove the panel under the glovebox?

No

Did you plug in the small connector with the red and blue wires into the new panel ?

To get to the footwell connector, you have to unscrew the bonnet handle with a torx bit
and then remove the plastic panel

Hi Andy, so I have taken the panel off below the glovebox but im not seeing any connector, any idea roughly where I should be looking up under there? wouldn't the wires just run through the centre consol and then up behind the stereo?

Phone won’t let me send a pic Sad

Remove the bonnet pull handle
Remove the trim behind it.
You should see 3 connectors.
It’s the middle one

Has red and blue wires and some seat wires too
