Yes guys. A 2017 HSE 3.0 Diesel.

I’m quite shocked by some of the low miles per gallon you folk are getting?

I work overseas 1 month on 1 month off and range until empty is normally down to the 480 mark where Mrs Jim has been blasting about in it.

I don’t drive my car hard, but I don’t hang around either. I drive a mix of country lanes, A roads and dual carriageways with an occasional motorway every couple of months.

Just had a look at incontrol app for my last decent drive, Distance 174.3 miles, average speed 70mph, 38.8mpg. Motorway driving, but seems pretty good. L494 3.0 diesel Very Happy
But to counter that, last trip 3.2miles, average 21mph, 23.8mpg Sad

Around 200-220 mls. to the tank averages about 14mpg. but then again I didn't buy a 500+bhp car that's about as aerodynamic as a house brick for it's fuel efficency. Mr. Green

Bear in mind pre 2014 models (old shape) weigh considerably more so this reflects in lower mpg. But if mpg is an issue...

I normally get over 400 a tank from mainly urban and village roads and have got 460+ on a long motorway run. All from a 3.0d. 2010 3.0 TDV6 RRS Overfinch GTS

I average 30mpg in my SDV6 - it's the 306bhp version with adblue. Works out to around 500+ miles a tank when I fill up.

I wasn't too happy with it, but after reading some of the distances given here...! MY16 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic

England

I get around 260-280 on 3/4 of a tank..

I only do 5-6 mile trips across town,
twice a day..
average speed less than 20 mph

But I take her out once a fortnight for a much
longer trip,
I hope its enough to keep the DPF happy..

When I purchased her from Scotland,
I did 508 miles at 37.6 MPG..
Single tank all the way home.. ===========================================

2014 SDV6 - I get around 500 miles from a tank, averaging around 35 MPG, with some farm driving and some motorway stuff too. Will easily do over 40 MPG on a long motorway journey.

Hmm, that's why I wasn't too happy with mine!
Most I can usually hope for on longer motorway journeys is around 32-33mpg. Although it tends to stick around 30mpg regardless of the travel I do (I don't do any city driving).

Annoying! Or do you just do 60 on the motorway...? MY16 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic

No - I drive more "enthusiastically" than the average RRS owner.

Mine has been remapped by DMS which may help MPG a little.

Also I use Millers Diesel Eco Max treatment from time to time - might be worth a try?
