United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Cairns Blue
Diecast car quality advice sought

To the knowledgeable collectors out there can you shed some light which manufactures are better than others. I’m looking at Minichamps, Autoart, Otto etc.... I spotted Norev today which I hadn’t heard of but it may just be me. I was looking at Escort, Sierra & Sapphire Cosworths in 1/18 scale so before the research starts I’d like some education.

England

There are many different makes of 1:18 models, all are different.
Autoart usually good detail inside and out, made of diecast, Sierra Cosworths will be £150 plus
Otto are a newer maker, all of their models sell out pretty quick tbh, Sapphire Cosworths will cost £200 plus
UT Models do a good range of Escort Cosworths, these range from £50 upwards
Minicamps are slightly cheaper than Autoart and detail isn't as good, prices are £75 upwards.
Norev do a good range of models and they start around £50
Biante are also very good for RS500s, but now very pricey.
Apex models are a budget version of Biante, not as heavy tho

Ebay is the best place to source models but worth researching all models well.
Ive been collecting for 15 years, all 1:18 Fords.
1 lot of my cabinets is below, every model is different

Thanks Jason,

I think I read somewhere yesterday that on Otto nothing opens, so are they just a 3D model as such?
