2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

There's been no mention so far about price, both the Merc and the Lamborghini are hugely more expensive than the SVR and the Tesla is a one trick pony in terms of all round capability. I don't know of anyone who have purchased an SVR just because of straight line speed, it's not what the car is about, it is merely one aspect of its all round capabilities.

I have an 18MY SVR and I can honestly say it is the best car I have ever owned, and that is before you look at the depreciation of the Merc and the Tesla, too early to comment on the Lamborghini. Very Happy MY 2014 HSE Dynamic
MY 2012 RRS HSE
2009 Audi A6 Avant- superb quality but boring never missed
2007 Q7 -loved it but not a patch on RRS
Various BMW's, Audis
199 TD5 Disco XS, great car big improvement on previous Disco
1981 Fiat Mirafiori Sport 2000 TC - Bright Orange and Black, great Car when new but soon deteriorated, those were the days

For me ( and I don’t own an SVR - or even a newer RRS) it’s still nice to sit in the original off-roader also capable of luxury and comfort on road whether just down to the shops of across the country. All the others I see are just inferior copies trying to be what I’m driving. Maybe I’m a snob but that’s how it feels. I picture those in their VW SUVs trying to emulate my car but failing. Overall if they can do it at all, I can do it better and do other stuff as well. Robin

The Grand Tour (aka original Top Gear team) had three "SUVs" on one of their articles, (a Velar, Macan & Stelvio). After the usual cocking about, one of the tests was a lap of a horse trials type arena, which was basically a loose gravel/ dust surface. The Porsche and Alfa 4-wheel drive systems went into limp mode half way round the course. The Velar steamed round completely unflustered. Laughing
Land Rover must've had a smug look on their faces after that. I certainly hope so anyway.

I can guarantee you 100% the deprecation will be hardest with the SVR, the 2019 G63 is holding solid, made to order cars, huge demand and still going at list or above. 2019 SVR's are unfortunately being purchased in the 80k region by trade already not the case with the G63 or Urus. Current
