I now know when to use Valet Mode

HI,
I am sure that when I read the manual about Valet Mode I was trying to think when we would use it Question

not much in the way of valet parking in Nottingham/lincolnshire rural land and Aldi dont valet park yet Laughing

but

after a trip to Rockingham landrover experience on Tuesday I now know when I can use it

Airport Parking Cool or any overnight/weekend parking really but the airport is when I can see us using it, as long as we remember the code after the holiday.

House keys in the glove box and valet mode on, it locks the glove box and restricts the satnav ect screens its only took me a year to find out when I can use it

Slightly off topic, but how was Rockingham? The LR Experience that is. Its the closest to me but I’m thinking Eastnor might be batter day out. Went to Rockingham when D3 came out, it was ok but not brilliant, wondering if it’s improved.

Eastnor beats all the other LRE centres hands down as it covers such a huge area and different terrains. The one I would avoid going to again is Luton Hoo even though it was paid for by the dealership not me - small and not a great set of “natural” testing areas, mostly man made and not exciting enough. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Useful info but I wouldn't leave my house keys in the car, locked away and in valet mode or not.

Hi,
Have only been to Skipton and Rockingham,

skipton a bit more scenic and liked the rock step wall you go up, also their cross axle "looks" more severe as you are going over a ridge line
but Rockingham was fine, you use a more man-made quarry to drop into and out of for hill decent and cross axle stuff
and a bit more through trees to drop down to a short water crossing (Skipton used a side slope in the water)
The main advantage for me was at Rockingham you can go out on the road as well, Skipton was all done in low range.

If someone has never done any off road driving I think Skipton "Looks" more dramatic but they must all be well within the cars capabillities and done to Show off its ability

Never had the chance to go to Eastnor (Yet Laughing )

just remembered the guy that took us around (Peter) had recently had a "Famous blogger Rolling Eyes " on the experience so there is some footage of it on the Tinternet Question
