How to make the L494 RRS SDV6 sound better ?

Guys I dont want to get arrested by changing the particle filters etc but compared to my SDV6 D4, the 2015 RRS SDV6 sounds sadly distinctly more Peugeot Diesel like, whats the simple solution beyond changing the air filters for K&Ns etc pls ??

Does changing the air filters for K&Ns make much difference to the sound on the SDV6? Also does it make any noticeable difference to performance/pick-up?

Thanks!

I had a MY 2012 SDV6 and it definitely did not sound better I my mind. In fact I’d say it was far more dull-sounding than my MY14 L494 SDV6 but I guess it’s all subjective and neither of them sound great to be honest...!
