Extended Warranty?

Hi guys, new to the forum after purchasing a 2015 RRS with 35k miles and FSH. The warranty ran out a month or so ago and I am looking for some worry free motoring.

Whats the best option for me to extend the warranty? Can I get a price from Land Rover or shall I be looking elsewhere? Anyone the forum would recommend?

If you want a Lr warranty you’ll have to take you rrs to a LR dealership for a health check if the warranty has ran out,it costs about £80 then their is different levels of cover from around £750 to £1200,,I’m sure warranty direct is the best option as it covers more. Andy.

I heard the LR warranty can be quite hit and miss and the main dealers dont seem that interested tbh.

Maybe I will check out warrantydirect. Does anyone have some information on the best package to take out with warrantydirect or what I should make sure is covered?

Also, anyone currently using warrantydirect want to give a review?

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver

the battery just died on car, obviously not a warranty claim but, after putting in the replacement, I started her up with the bonnet open and noticed a rumble from the top of the engine which you couldn't hear with the bonnet closed.

To cut the long story short, it was the supercharger drive at the front. £1200+ but fully covered under the LR extended warranty. Seems to pay for itself most years and the best thing is not paying up front and claiming back as you might have to with 3rd party warranties.

Works for me and available up to 10 years / 100k miles. Cheers,

Stuart.
