United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Transmission fault

Hi, i have a 2005 sport tdv6, it is showing F on the dashdoard, have had it plugged in and have got codes U3000 control module, U0122 lost communication with vehicle dynamics control module, U0100 lost communication with engine control module \ powertrain control module 'A' and U0126 lost communication with steering angle sensor module. Can anyone please shed any light on the remedy for these codes. It doesn't seem to change gear and can't select sport or manual modes, i have a message saying that limited gears available.

Any help or advice would be most appreciated

I also have a 2005 TDV6. I should also point out that I am no expert nor have I the LR experience of the majority of members here. I had the same fault come up a while ago. I knew I was losing oil and was on the way to my mechanic when it came up. From what I can gather, what you have described can occur for a number of reasons. I think I even read once that it can happen if there is a simple electrical short / fuse / bulb blown. I know this doesn't answer your question - just sharing my experience. I'm sure you'll get some helpful responses. Good luck. Barrie.
