2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Firenze Red

Rear indicator.

Hi all.
I seem to have an intermittent fault in my rear left indicator. 90% of the time it doesn't work. 2012 sport
I took the unit off. But because the indicator is LEDs you can't seem to get at them. Any suggestions or does it mean buying a new unit. Or is it a fault somewhere else s the LEDs do work sometimes.
