United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Arctic Frost
No video.

Hi all. I hav recently purchased a tdv8 and slowly getting a few niggles sorted. I had to take my wife somewhere the other day and wait for her for an hour so decided to take a dvd. It kept saying cd not recognised. As the radio says cd and video am I missing something and I notice some people talk about tv. Mine is a late 2009 tdv8 3.6 by the way. Many thanks.

TV and dual view screen were an option after 2010MY so you would need to check your build spec on Topix if they hold data that far back. Also I think that to play DVD’s you needed the optional rear seat entertainment system to view DVDs in pre 2010 Facelift cars. DVD viewing became possible with the hard drive powered satnavs and dual view dash screens. Is your car an early “Facelift” car from October 2009 model year change to 2010 MY with s front screen rather than a late 2009 Model year where it wasn’t even an option? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Mines a 2012 but a 2010MY should be similar. If it’s a late 09MY it’s probably completely different.

Ipnone connection problems aswell.

I’ve found that my iPhone 6 will connect to the Bluetooth fine but can’t play music from my phone into the car. I’ve tried the usb connection under the Centre armrest and it charges my phone but says on the car screen device error. The port next to it says ipod but that connection has been superseeded and can’t get the adapter to fit the iPhone. Any ideas how I can get music to play from my phone into car ?
