Squeaky front seats

I have noticed that my front driver seat has developed an annoying squeak, I think it is in the side bolster on the part you sit on. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it. 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)

Mine did exactly this. It was intermittent but when it was doing it, seat position didn't matter.
I weigh 17 stone but the other half weighs 9 and it did it with her in it too.

The bolt in question was the base to the floor, if you open the rear door and look at the seat, it's the one closest to you on the left. At least it was on mine.

When it was in for a service, I pointed this out, as I couldn't figure out how to get the trim off without snapping it - the one on the right has a self tapper holding it in but couldn't see anything on the left.
They said that they'd have to remove the seat to get to it, but they did it gratis as I'd had a major service, front pads, and a rear caliper stripped and freed.

The trim panels just pop off and the seat is held in by 5 star nuts, the bottom bolster is held by 4 star nuts directly in the bottom of it...

It's all easy to tighten although I'm surprised it's loose!

Not sure if it's a fixing or not, it feels like a squeaky spring, are there springs in the seats? 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)

The bottom is just foam on an aluminium type shaper base so no there no springs.. May be a component in the subframe itself.

My seat squeaks where the base rubs against the side of the central tunnel. I can stop the squeak by putting a finger down between seat and the side of the tunnel. I notice that the seat trim here is a suede look which is presumably because of the rubbing that occurs. I keep meaning to put a piece of thin plastic between the seat and tunnel to act as a slip layer and see if it has an effect. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
