Wheels spacers

Hiya all I’m new here I have a 2012 rrs autobiography with 22” wheels on it I’m looking to put hub centric spacers on the wheels to fill the arches out what size would be best suited to 22” wheels with 285/35/22 tyres

The process is fairly simple mate,

Get a straight piece of wood, spirit level and a measure,

Put the wood against the wheel arch,
make sure its straight using the spirit level,
then measure from the inside edge of the wood to the tyre
at its widest point, this is the gap your looking to fill..

Then look for the spacers that are the size you require..

Happy hunting.. ===========================================

30mm is fine & fills the arches nicely,I fitted 30mm on my L494 & I also fitted 30mm on my friends L320 2012 AB & they also make the car look better,I’ll try get some pics of my friends car from the rear today as he is only up the road from me.We have only fitted them to the rear as 30mm on the fronts was too much.This is it from the side which doesn’t really help much.

Paul,,these are the ones I fitted,i bought 4 as I was going to fit all 4 but when I put a set on the front the wheels stuck out too much as ive got aftermarket alloys on with a offset of 45 & the originals which are now on the friends car are 53 so their is 8mm difference,so when my mate came in for my old wheels fitting he had the other 2 spacers fitted to his cars rear.You could have a look on ebay & try find just 2 spacers but they are sometimes as much money,unless you know someone with a RRS that wants to share the cost & have 2 each.

Don't forget to ask your insurance company if they consider it to be a notifiable modification.

The wheels are off my RRS2,,I suppose you could put 15mm spacer on the front,I’ve got my mates coming in tomorrow to have his 20’s put back on as I’ve just fitted 4x general grabber winter tyres on them,I’ll measure the distance between wheel & arch for you on the fronts as I have a tool to do it.

If you would mate I’d be very greatfull even a 20 mm spacer only I have noticed that the n15 mm spacers seem to be a lot more expensive than the 20 mm ones 30 mm seem to be the cheaper ones

No rubbing of the arches when lowered,,the fronts you’ll probably only need 5-10mm spacers as their isn’t much room for any thicker ones.
