Love the current RRS seats, any idea if they fit in a 2012 Disco 4 please as in plug and play ???

I would of thought not as I'm sure the controls are different and on most sports they have memory seats for the front driver and front passenger.

I know D3 and D4 have memory seat options but only for the driver.

Plus the rails would be different too.

I maybe wrong but I will wait for somebody with more knowledge on this one.

Thats a really special idea.
I have owned an RRS 2012 and a Disco 4 2012 and there I remember a similar comfort and a much better armrest compared to the L494 seats.

As the construction of the car generations are totally different you cant swap the seats like plug and play.
Nothing is impossible, but it needs a good engineering to adapt this.

but aren't the cars similar architecture/platforms ??

The current sport L494 is completely different from the D4 it was the previous generation sport L320 that was similar.

L494 uses L405 FFRR underpinnings not Disco 3 or 4 - Disco 5 also uses a version of the L405 architecture I believe, to help reduce the weight which it does by about 400kgs over the previous D3/L320 RRS. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
