"Lazy" Seats

I seem to remember that on my 55 plate super charged there was an option for Lazy Seats or something similar that moved the seat back when the ignition was switched off, is there a similar option on a 2013 Black Edition?

Also can the seats be set to move to a preset position based on which key is used to unlock it? 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography

Should be a small rotary knob to left of steering wheel on steering column to turn function on and off, "lazy seat " function went out with the P38 I think you will find, you can't programme individual keys for seat/column position anymore either it's done on memory buttons in door panel.

Cheers

If you put the switch to auto on the column then it should move the seat when you hit the engine stop button. 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

The auto function on my car just moves the steering wheel but as I have mine set in the Park position anyway, it never moves. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Never use it as always switched off, but sure it moves column and seat when in auto on mine, can set column position initially with knob in either position though.

Generally it's not a problem using the memory button, the problem comes when it's raining and I have to wait for the seat to move so I can fit in whislt getting very wet!

And yes I have asked her to move the seat befor getting out but .......... 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography

have you got a 2013 ? or both ?

I'm sure the 2005 can be configured to select a memory position when the unlock button is pressed.

The confusion is that there are 6 memories!

3 for one key
3 for other key!

I don't know if turning the CCF option of personalisation stops this stupidity!

I've only got the 2013.

I just remember the setting from the 2005 one. I remember the key memory being really good. 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography
